10 Easy Ways to Be Happy
1.) Be a Kid. If you forgot what it is to be a kid, try to just observe them. Kids can easily be excited. When was the last time you were excited over ice cream? Are you too mature to put some sprinkles on your sundae?
2.) Live in the moment. We live in an age where we cannot escape anything. You can be contacted every second of our lives. Emails, voicemails, texts, all reminding you what you need to do, What you don’t have, or what you wish you had.Take a moment to clear your head, and Just live in the NOW.
3.) Find the good. Stay positive. As cliche as it may sound. You can’t imagine how easily you can change your mind by just choosing to see what is good verses what is bad.
4.) Be Grateful. Counting your blessings, is the quickest and easiest way to put a smile on your face. Even on my worst days, I try to find thankful things.
5.) Make some one else Happy, and Karma will hit you back with a dose of Happy. 🙂
6.) Like yourself as you are. Take one day a week where you dress happy! Whether it be dressing like a total bum, sexy, sporty, this is really a moment to embrace who you are. For me it is Sundays. I wear no make up, put my hair up, and wear a sun dress. There’s nothing better than feeling comfortable in your own skin.
7.) Be random! Try something new. Change things up, and add some spice to your life.
8.) Don’t expect too much back. This one, is a bit unusual, but I have been unlucky when it comes too “friends” and I learned expecting too much from people is setting you up for disappointment and cynicism. When you give, do it because you wan’t to, not because you hope they will return anything.
9.) Simplify your Life! You can’t imagine how clutter brings you down. whether it be your schedule or your closet, clean it out!
10.) Read Positive affirmations daily.
